Version 3.0 (Erupt3, LA-CC 99-33, Copyright © 1999 UC) is available for download from RockWare. It includes many new features and capabilities beyond previous releases of ERUPT, such as recording and playback of eruption sequences, display of the detailed stratigraphy for chosen locations, and 3-D display of a plan (map) and topographic views of the volcano/volcanic field you create. In addition, Erupt3 includes a greatly improved help system, new eruption types, a toolbar, and a WWW browser for quick updates and information for registered users.
